great video of Senna driving in an NSX on the limit wearing a worn set of loafers ...

I love driving in bare feet, you know kick off those killer heels, put them in the passenger footwell as you don't want one flying under the brake!!!!!

Anything with a really thin sole. All the F1 drivers used to wear loafers when in their normal road cars. I've got a pair of OMP race boots that I wear in the Westfield but trouble is you always feel a wally walking anywhere in them

I have recently tried a couple of pairs from the Merrell "glove" range. They are nearly as good as proper race shoes, but don't look stupid when you step out at the petrol station forecourt.

I've had a pair of Puma Vedano GT shoes for driving/track days since about 2008.

They're quite snug though, so if you want to wear them when you're not driving then I'd suggest getting the next size up.
