nice garage too....

Saw the post on facebook and thought exactly the same thing!

Lol, I moved last year and the first room to get sorted was the "man-cave" double garage! i leveled the floor and painted/sealed it and proper kitted it out with all the gear/tools!

A blokes gotta have his place of worship!

NEXT UP - Front bumper in for a top quality respray to rid the final imperfections/stone chips from the car..... (I like an immaculate ride)

Might 3m clear tape the lowest parts - I did this to a couple of my other cars and it prolonged the protection ten-fold

Cheers guys

Certainly starting to enjoy it more now. Those spacers arrive today so will be going on tonight then I intend getting the whole thing aligned correctly and the toe / Camber checked and we should be set :driving:

SO... decided to "M-up the Grille" a little...

Nicked the wifes hairdryer, got a surgical scalpel, had the relevant coloured adhesive tape and a steady hand!

Unfortunately............. the hairdryer paid a price.... namely me forgetting I'd tucked it under the car and I drove over it.... was gonna tell the Mrs but she looked to happy in her ignorance of the fact......!

Took another couple of shots at the weekend next to my other pride and joy......

that van is incredible i LOVE it.... will definitely own one one day.

Cheers, it took my 5 years to restore and build and I done the vast majority of it myself all bar the paint job. Prepped it, sorted the hole and rag top sunroof, made the interior panels and upholstery (all bar the bespoke cabinets) and sorted the rebuilt engine etc...

It needs to come down another inch and a half, need to remove the anti-roll bar and then there is another cabinet to be fitted then thats about it!

I have had a number of old school VWs, trophy winners and mag features, its my passion and has been since I was old enough to drive! Aircooled VW's rock! My most recent ones was a fully restored '64 Split screen and a '63 Karmann Ghia slammed on a 7" Narrowed Beam!

Scroll down half the page of results to see it.
