Been a bit Busy on the M.....

RPI FTW...

cockney if they get too noisey for you, you can not buy some bolt in silencers which really kill the drone!

FINISHED!!!!

Ok so I know I had that original marathon 18 hour session when I first bought the car but I have now finished every mod, and had the bumper re-sprayed to get those pesky stonechips erredicated and so this weekend I went HELL FOR LEATHER all out and gave it a marathon detail....

See what you think...surely this has to be ONE OF the cleaner examples of this rare beast now???

I did this..... a little home made sound proofing to reduce the 'sonic boom' in the cabin :D

B&Q Bitumen flashing tape.... did such a great job on the Camper thought it couldnt hurt!

Not bloody much no! Ha ha

It did deepen the rumble rather than rattling everything so I guess it did something but don't expect to make massive differences.

Beeb how do those fit? Can't see properly on the phone!

Decided to smarten up the headlamps as I felt they were the only thing letting the car down... SO... at the weekend I got this out...

11260832_10153331237149808_5920787031714641538_n.jpg

.... I masked up..... Machined in some Menzerna Power Gloss (quite abrasive) short session and wipe, then repeated a few times so I did it gradually, and some Meguires PlastX and I'm quite pleased with the results!!!

Isn't this now up for sale? Such a shame, amazing looking car (not my cuppa on the wheels!) - so clean, just how I love mine! Cannot wait to get wheels refurb'd in a high power silver to really help the paint "pop" all over.

Yes mate, it is. As the advert says, I am not overly fussed if it doesnt go in time, as I do love it but I simply CANNOT pass up at least trying for the rare car I have been offered so I am testing the water.

Dont be offended but I dont want to say just yet as it IS advertised and I dont want to stir up too much interest in it! ha ha

I didn't see the last installment of your detailing from April - the photos look stunning - it's a really slick finish and I really like those wheels. Shame you are thinking of moving it on - as above, what can tempt you away from these lovely beasts?
