I am replacing the original 70ah 760cc with a 75ah 780cc which has a 5 year guarantee. It is the same physical size as the original though.
Can you tell me which battery are you buying? I have decided upon an exide battery since this is the only battery that I found in my country with the nearest specs.

No I don't have start stop, BMW fit a an AGM stop start battery as standard, presumably because of all the electronics, particularly the roof.

It’s only to do with ampage and power output regardless of who makes the battery? Coding/registration doesn’t know how big the plates are, it just needs to know the battery output so that it can input the correct levels/rates of charge...
