Great purchase Chris - well done sir, looks great
Cheers Marlon! Doesnt half make a difference eh? Like a proper coupe inside now.
Didnt get the side covers sadly. No biggy.
Is there only the one slide-on connector for the heated window too? Drivers side. Seems a bit flimsy.

Bet you are enjoying the average speed sections
Hehe. Well i actually drive slow on the motorway so i'm safe there anyway!
When i was driving Benny around over here a dutch bike cop told me that even if i got flashed by a speed camera they would never pursue it. He stopped me at schiphol airport to give me a warning about going a bit too fast down that dual carriageway next to the longstay carpark.
I said 'oh, yes officer, i'll certainly take that into consideration *kof*' lol.
But tbh, i never exploited it. Never really had to.

Yes - its very flimsy, have to watch it doesn't get trapped when fitting hardtop. Other than that, the hardtop design is rather impressive - it attaches really easily and solidly doesn't it :)

Yep deffo. And deef a 2 man job to get on/off. Heavier than i had expected it to be.
Just had a look at mine again and theres definitely a bit more of a lift on the passenger side and hence windnoise. Needs a bit of fettling. Uh oh.
Did they all come tinted? Is yours? Mine seems darker than others ive seen perhaps...?

Yeah, there's def a tint goin on there then. Think i prefer untinted. Something cool about seeing the rollhoops clearly through the window. Maybe it'll grow on me....

I always thought tinted windows looked a bit chavvy. But it was a dark day today so maybe that made the tint look darker than it prob is.
Plus, tints always end up peeling or bubbling and looking generally a bit ratty over time. The softop is tinted and theres just a bit of bubbling going on right in my line of sight out the mirror. A bit irritating.
Can't complain at this price tho and i can always remove it. We'll see. Might grow on me.

I think it suits your car - keep the tint. As you say, you can probs just peel it off if you get sick of it. If it was an original tint at the factory and has lasted 10years or more, not likely to come off anytime soon!
Stevo

Aye stevo, i'll keep the tint for the time being and see if it grows on me. Try to ignore my own negative connotations. Might buy a Burberry cap and a stone island top to complete the image tho...lol. Gangstaaaa

Well done on the hard top Chris - looks a good'un  .
Those things are uber-rare here so I doubt I'll ever see one up for sale. Fortunately the weather's not really bad enough to need it, and I've got a garage to tuck it up in during the colder/wetter weather :) . Would still be a cool accessory to have though.

I think ur climate and location more than make up for the lack of available hardtops! Whereabouts are u in nz?
Some great driving roads there i understand...
