Well in the meantime things haven't been great with the Boxster. During the last road trip the car broke down and after inspection at the garage, it seems to be an electrical issue...
In fact, the previous owner messed with the cables and that seems to have caused a short circuit. As a result a whole bunch of fuses blown, as well as a few cables that burned through. Luckily the car didn't catch fire. Anyway, the car is still under warranty but the seller isn't responding to my messages. :x He already had so many repairs on my P, that he's probably fed up. But as I see this as a hidden defect that I couldn't be aware of, under Belgian law I am entitled to a refund. But obviously I'll have to talk to a sollicitor to get things going as the seller is pretty quiet. Luckily I'm well insured so I' not too bothered.
In the meantime my company car was due for replacement as the lease contract ends in a month. I'm very lucky that we have a very flexible car policy that also allows us to order convertibles. So I ended up ordering this
Not sure yet when it will be delivered, but it shouldn't take longer than 2 or 3 months...
And if I ever get that itch again to get a proper sports car, I might just get myself an E89 ... Black, off course.
