Bad_Pritt's Black Pearl II - Z4QP 3.0si

The Zed has no new owner as of yet. :-)
I left the car with the dealer where I bought the Boxster. The dealer will get the car ready for sale afterwards.

Good luck with the sale :) Stunning Z4, hopefully the next owner will take care of it as much as you did!
Keep us posted on you progress with the Boxster! What was you main motivation for changing cars?
Was it an urging need to bring an "old" and neglected Boxster model back on tracks?

It's clear from those dealer pics that a heck of a lot of work by you has gone into it. I hope the new owner will appreciate what they're getting.
Just wondering, is there a mention of your sat nav modification in this thread? If so, i'll trawl through the 38 pages (so far) and have look for it.
Unless you know what page(s) it features on. Thanks.

It's on here somewhere... more probably on the latter pages.

Reason for change was that I always loved Porsche but never had the balls to get one again after a bad judgement with a 996.
The Boxster does need some love but I already have some plans for it :-)

I already modded the intake and the exhaust off course :)

Where can we find pics of the new love? Looking at what you've achieved with the Z4 I'm sure the Boxster will look brilliant.

Edit - found the pic you posted in this thread - thanks. Also scrolled back a few pages for the satnav details - interesting.
I'd love to get the Angel Eyes done but am a bit scared of cutting open the headlights (and doing the wiring). I see you can buy them complete but a little expensive for me to justify...

cutting open the lights is quite a hassle and not really worth it to be honest. I would get the aftermarket lights "spyder" model which are not that expensive. And keep your OEM lights if you ever want to switch back. As for the Boxster, I will do a proper shoot this weekend if it doesn't rain...

Have you been given the special key for the Porsche forum inside this one? :)

Have fun with it.

Shame your zed has to go. So much work done.!! But i am sure you will enjoy the new car.

Make sure you stick around Bad. Hows the kid? Getting all grown up now i bet!!

Why did you chose a Boxster ?
Did you want more power ?

I had a 2005 2.2 just like you, couple of months ago I bought a 2008 Z4 3.0si, lots more power

When i was looking for a 3.0si, i also had my eye on a Boxster but I wanted the 987 model (2005+)
The 986 model looks a lot older than a Z4 in my opinion :poke:

No I just love the looks of the old Boxster. Having a powerfull car in Belgium is very costly taxwise and all. But I just love the sound and look of the old Boxster. I loved the car since I was a teenager and always told myself I would get one later. I had the Z4 after selling my 996 because I kind of lost all trust in Porsche after some serious expenses on the 996.

it's a 2,5 :-)
and this is the website to use for simulations

Do you have to pay the BIV tax every time you buy another car, doesn`t matter if it`s a used car ?
What a ripoff :headbang:
