Back in Z4MC ownership- and building a track beast :)

Just to chuck in my experience - I'm running the Ground Control ARBs (with Ground Control coilovers) and I had similar clearance issues on the front calliper (exactly as described by BMWZ4MC). After a lot of faffing about with the adjustable droplinks they 'just' clear, but it's all very tight under there!

It does corner pretty well now though...

Alright then, my turn :P

I like the daylight under the NSF wheel in the last one as it jumps the kerb through the chicane

How did you manage to get away with a camera mounted externally? Every time I try that (assuming the track even allows cameras) I get told to remove it.

It's mounted in a proper GoPro mount so the marshals are happy with that. They wouldn't allow a suction mount. I've put a cable tie around its waist too as a safety belt in case the mount adhesive fails.

Hey BMWZ4MC, what are the circley bits on your front bumper, either side of the go pro?
They're brake cooling ducts that vent onto the calipers and the back of the discs.

@BMWZ4MC What cooling ducts are these? custom?

It's an evolution of this:

with the ducting brought out onto the surface of the bumper. The ducting and inlet apertures came from Demon Tweeks.

With regard to the ground control ARBs, sorry it's not the best photo, but you can see them on here before fitting...

i was thinking about selling it....

i love it the HT BUT roof off driving in the warm night, exhausts at full chat, s54 singing and blower puffing and chattering away as i wind it out is something to behold and experience.... I'm not sure what it would take to better that feeling at that moment.... i sure as hell can't afford the car the offers it.

But yeah thinking i may jus offload it, its in too good condition to just sit on my garage wall... and i have no intention of not enjoying the roadster experience, But as time goes on and they get rarer, getting rid for 800 odd quid may be a decision i regret.... plus i love the coupe feel to the car with it on and how it looks!
