Now contemplating getting the Ipad 4 or waiting for the 2nd gen of the mini that'll almost certainly have Retina and the faster processor.
Same as this. Own an iPad2 which is great but has recently been 'borrowed' long term by the gf as its perfect for her as a baby feeding window into the world. So I think, how about the mini, but then read its not retina - which if I was a sane and logical person wouldnt matter, but Apple have waved the retina carrot in front of me with my new iPhone 5 and it really is orange and tasty (still using the carrot metaphore). Do I buy the iPad4 with retina but still large, wait for the mini retina to be inevitably released next autumn, buy the mini now and relax a little or stick two fingers up to Apple and go get me a Kindle Fire cutting my app nose off to spite my iTunes face.
Speaking of the iPhone 5, buyer beware. Mine has taken to dropping wifi connectivity and batterly life isnt amazing. Hoping its a firmware issue and can be sorted by updating. Quick Google search shows its a common problem for certian build dates. Still amazing thing but Regent Street Genius Bar will be feeling the inkey$ wrath next Thursday.
