Anywhere to thread a cable from inside to the boot?

Would like to mount an external mic near the exhaust, which would be connected to my gopro which is mounted on the centre console. Is there any way to route the cable from inside the cabin through to the boot? Hopefully I can them poke it of there and clip to the numberplate.

There is, but it's a lot of effort to get it there - I'd treat it as a temporary wire and run it over the top of the centre console between the seats, over the dropped roof and into the back of the boot (under the rear edge of the boot). To avoid any chance of the wire vibrating in the wind and marring the paint, I'd put a strip of something like 1" blue 3m tape on the rear panel (between back of boot and roof), run the wire along this and hold it in place with another strip over the top.

You can use more tape to hold it in place anywhere else that's required - the 3m tape is used when masking up for detailling etc. so it won't leave residue or mark the paint

That would take about 5 mins

Thanks for the advice. Was fine with routing it over the top and in the boot with the roof down, but it was more the scenario when the roof was up. I will check out removing the storage bin and see how tricky that looks!
