Anyone else worried about Lewis?

Lewis again 8) like a boss.

And Rosberg 10 second penalty, meaning there's just 1 point between them now!

Rosberg may well be wearing frilly underwear under his race suit, so how does that affect the racing?

I think he was today.

Well they clearly don't help him drive.

He doesn't seem to have that last little bit of talent - Carlos Sainz Jr may have, Max Verstappen does, Nico doesn't - maybe it skips a generation?

Nico just got lucky being in a team that suddenly came good - shame Mercedes couldn't/didn't dump him for a special driver like Alonso, Button, Vettel, Riccardo.....

+1

I would rather Lewis was the one point ahead, but it is just about all square now and is making for an interesting run in to the title. I was hoping Jenson would have made more of the wet conditions as well.

Interesting weekend in F1 on and off track.

Two questions.

First ones in the title to the thread. Nico appears to want this more right now. :o

Second one. Is any one worried about Bernie?

Don't think it's anything to do with Nico wanting it more. It's more to do with the team pulling Hamilton in a couple of laps earlier than Nico despite Nico having first call and then putting him on the slowest of the three tyre options when he needed to overtake. Next bringing him in again when the tyres were not going to last till the end but Nico's would and did? Then finally not putting him on the Ultra soft tyre for the final laps which Riccardo clearly proved were clearly the fastest . A conspiracy theorist would think the team were trying to shaft Lewis and make sure Nico gained as many points over Lewis as possible?

I reckon between the 2 of them Bieber is def bitin the pillow.
Sorry lol
(1/2 bottle of brunello consumed) no excuse really

Avin it tonight *hic*

Seriously, what more can this man do? What an absolute joke Mercedes have been, reliability wise, this season. Terrible.

Just seen him go out. Drove the perfect race and then this

Brundle said Lewis' car this weekend was the most perfect racing car he's ever seen. You could just see it looked effortless to drive and perfection.

And then this  what a farce.

His comments, ouch!

43 Mercedes engines used so far this season across the field and only his has had problems...

Sounds like he knows somethings going on

Yet Nico is involved in 2 collisions and still manages to finish 3rd.

This championship has his name on it.

Nico is avoiding lady misfortune this year so far, and still recovered to podium this weekend could have easily been a dnf. irrespective of conspiracy theories he's doing the job.

The target for Lewis must be to win all the remaining races which isn't out of the question but one engine fault out of the last five races is a high probability in his car... so place your bets on a nico championship while you still can - 8-11 odds the last time I checked.

I dont get the conspiracy theories. Engines are run at extreme tolerances. Sometimes they break and unfortunately Lewis has been unlucky this year.

Really gutted but there are still 5 races to go....

Yet no other driver has had engine problems. 8 cars across 4 teams. Odds are that one of those drivers would have engine trouble at some stage...yet nothing! Bit strange, is it not?

Sometimes s**t just happens. Obviously I wanted Hamilton to win but very very happy for Daniel Riciardo
