Anyone else worried about Lewis?

Lewis doesn't really have charisma and isn't that likeable when compared to drivers like button. And isn't as skilled as fernando.
Just think how dominant was the Renault in 06'07'?
Also think where the Mercedes was before the engine change.
Red bull have shown new strength with there new engine but I'm just waiting for honda to come good. I have faith in that or blind faith in fernando!

Have to disagree with you on Fernando being better than Lewis, where is the evidence on that one. Both great drives, both always beat there other team mates, both multiple world Champions & both better than Seb.

Good race and showed the difference of LH as a great driver, rather than NR a good driver that can just set fast metronomic laps in clear air.

Should be interesting couple of races now so long as LH keeps a working car....
Totally agree re LH being a great racer and NR being very good, but not in the same class as a pure racer!

What a dire weekend...can't believe I was actually excited to leave Monaco :|
Car did look fast though!

The mood in the camp must be low, but great seeing the not so smiley side of Ricardo, he's hungry for sure

LuLu couldn't even get past his team mate through skill and had to be let through....he was faster but if was that amazingly skilled and the best ever as all his fanbois claim then he would have got through on merit alone!

And RB handed him the win with awful communication and poor pit stop.

As for the King of The Chavs Gangsta Wannabe Rapper lifestyle he's trying to portray its just hilarious :D

I was a fan until he became arrogant, petulant, condescending and a wannabe gangsta who claims to have a burgeoning music career - his chavvy tattoos and bling make him even less likable!

Yeah and the cnut would put him into the wall and get Nikki laudcnut to blame Lewis.

I wouldn't even say Rossberg was a good driver to be honest - wasn't Ricardo doing a second and a half laps faster than him.

Boy's a knobjockey !

Wow, jealousy is a terrible thing.

Tattoo's are a personal thing, so unsure why you hate them so much.

I guess you're just upset he's a multi millionaire race car driver and you're a keyboard warrior on a forum?

Not jealous in the slightest - if one is jealous of money then they're a very sad person as material possessions are not everything!

I just think he's a complete chav, a tool wityh poor dress sense and shockingly poor role model.....I would not want his life, thanks

Personality opinions aside, surely you can lay the same lack of skill to Riccardo seeing as he had the faster car for a fair portion of the middle of the race but couldn't get past?
With Spain in mind, I think you can forgive Hamilton for not going banzai to get past Rosberg initially with it being so tight and extremely difficult to overtake, nigh on impossible, as shown by the many years of racing at Monaco over the years and the ex F1 driver pundits also confirming as much. You only have to look at the amount of incidents in the race to see how hard it was just to keep the car in a straight line let alone overtake your team mate in the same car and risk an accident.....

Just to add, I imagine it's your view on his personality traits that have tainted your view on his skills as a racing driver which is a shame as he's clearly one of the most talented drivers on the grid currently, even the haters surely can't argue that.

Some good points of discussion, let's start with the Alonso vs Lewis.
They are both multiple world champs, I thought initially that Lewis was riding on Alonso's coat tails when he started at mclaren, but obviously it's quite difficult matching Alonso in same machinery never mind beating him which is an achievement.
Alonso has won the drivers multiple times and also helped setup new generation car which is obviously a driver skill outside the straightforward driving.
Lewis did win the drivers champs but that was in the foundation of the Alonso generation macca.
But now that he has won with Mercedes which he had supposed input into puts him in the same league as Alonso. Maybe even half a step more as he's won with multiple teams.
Obviously it's unfair to compare directly as different other drivers in the years and tech advantages were had at different seasons.
What is interesting is that in challenging race conditions like the rain in Monaco or straight dogfight scenarios with other drivers, Lewis and Alonso do well. At this point in time id have to give Lewis the edge, Alonso would need to win with maclaren to get the clear recognition, and I think Lewis needs to win with another constructor to do the same over Alonso.
The only problem these days is that tech advantages would still cloud the best driver argument and that's not going to change unless Lewis and Alonso get back in the same car ...

If Lewis were to win the F1 championship in a 35Is the haters would say he could not do it in a manual

Lewis isn't as skilled as fernando.

hmm, odd that LH finished above FA on his rookie 2007 championship, not to mention...

Youngest Drivers' Champion beating FA by 1 year
more WC's than FA
more poles than FA
more wins that FA
more fastest laps
more podiums

I could go on, but LH's rookie season in the same car as FA speaks for itself.

Just my opinion of what I've seen over the years of a sport I love. Also like I said faith in Alonso!

Every one is entitled to their own opinion. Your just wrong on that one. Much as I like Fernando.

Anyway. Opinions are like a**eholes. Everyone's got one.

Sauber have two!

Properly embarrassing for a team that is already struggling. :(
