Anyone else worried about Lewis?

It was a great race, best one of the season so far, Lewis is a deserved champion, congratulations

Lewis is a triple world champion, with two different teams, enough said really

I am also starting to warm to Vettel since joining Ferrari, he's the only real competition to Lewis and I hopehe gets a worthy car next year

I,m not surprised nico threw his cap , I would have after the rat lewis drove him out the first corner. they said he,s taken the race line thats ok to do , HE NEVER TURNED THE CORNER he continued to go straight till he run nico off the track, there was nothing sportsman like there!.
If I was nico I,d have knocked is arse off and give him a rear puncture.
Sounds very very similar to what Rossi done to Marquez in the Malaysian MotoGP. :o

You want to get personal now AndyBeech ?( The chap I've quoted above seems to have a limited grasp in grammar and sentence structure, does that mean I should presume he dropped out of school and hangs around on an council estate somewhere and call him a chav?)
that sort of forum is it on here.
I dont hate Hamilton i just don,t like his driving .

True, but we have also seen that Ricardo is faster than him, given the same car.

Well done to Lewis, :D

if Lewis's manoeuvre at the first corner was deemed to be illegal or dangerous, the stewards would have at least discussed it, at worst dished out a penalty

they didnt.

Well I'm made up for him - not a fan of his bling and petulance sometimes either, but he's British and is undoubtedly one of the most gifted drivers in F1 for a very long time. Even if he has a well built car, it's a team effort - the at can be perfect but if the driver is s**t he'll get nowhere, and vice versa. The best thing about yesterday was what a great race it was for once, proper competition... And he still won.

And I'm with ranski regarding the stewards. Given half a chance most other drivers would have done exactly the same, including Nico. Who, by the way, had a great drive to come second.

Good for Lewis, the cream always rises to the top. As for his driving style, very much in the mould of Senna his hero and we all know how good he was.

The problem with Vettel last year was getting used to the car without the Renault blown exhaust, which suited him well, Ricciardo didn't have that problem coming from Torro Rosso. What surprises me this year how he has dominated Kimi this year

Verstappen is looking pretty creamy as well.

And did you see McLaren overtaking other cars? WEIRD. :o

Lol, if you read the post you would see I wasn't getting personal, I was making a point to someone else, just used your post as an example, chill.

Fair enough you don't like his driving, that's cool. It is aggressive at times and ruthless, but some (not all) of the best drivers of all time in F1 generally share that quality, Schumacher and Senna being prime examples.

Well at least until Alonso's engine headed South. :(

I just caught up with it. Great race and Lewis got his well deserved triple. Seriously though ... Rosberg needs to have a word with himself, handing his champagne to Lowe. What a prat, he needs to get back to his school in Monaco and learn some manners.

Fantastic race and i applaud Lewis (and Jenson!). I'm a big fan of Lewis, as having been to races, he's always the one which goes the extra mile to acknowledge, thank and please the crowd and his fans.

I also applaud Kimi for being yet again totally and utterly useless. How some people think he is good baffles me!

Nico didn't need to hold out the outside line on Turn 1 - it was his own fault. As for being ahead which he claimed - LOL - Ahead maybe, but after Lewis braked and the wrong side of the track...

The Cap/Champagne incidents were great fun to watch, but not for one minute should Nico be blaming Lewis. Vettel is beating him also; in a worse car.

Too be honest very pleased for Jenson. He deserves a better car
Didn't Chris Rea once say that about Johny Herbert?

There is a certain mentality required to get to the top of any professional sport. And whilst it's not to everyone's liking, I understand it.
As for any dalliance Lewis may have had in the past, you can't go far wrong with Nicole Scherzinger! If I was 30 years younger (okay 40), and rich, and successful, and good looking.....I'm sure you get my point. (Also, even if he is gay, he's still Lewis isn't he?).
As for tattoos, and Mr Beckham, I wouldn't get in the way of Mrs SpiketheBike if she saw him coming over the horizon!!!!

But Jenson button has been world champion, so has the ability and experience, just the cars underneath him haven't been very good ..

Half the drivers in F1 would have consistent wins if they had the current Mercedes, the drivers are all very talented but it's who is behind the wheel when the car is at its peak of development that wins the races..

Did anyone see Hamilton do yesterday's press conference?
Hamilton spent the entire time pissing about on his phone under the desk like a naughty schoolboy hiding it from his teacher.
He's paid a lot of money for what he does and press conferences are all part of his job, the least he can do is put his phone away for 10 minutes while people are asking him questions. If i was his boss I'd be fuming with him.

One of the reporters tongue in cheek questions to him was "Are you using a Blackberry or iPhone?" to which he replied "Both!" what a complete xxxxx!

I didn't really like the bloke very much, but now I've got the point that I can't xxxx stand the little xxxx.

I'm afraid Lewis now appears to lack any level of humility whatsoever, which I personally find a very disagreeable trait. Without wishing to sound like an right miserable old codger, it's a personality type that seems to more widespread than ever.

And still pulling the race card during his visit to NZ where he didn't like his treatment in the casino. That chip won't go away despite that he has fans and money.
