First chance over the Christmas holiday to get out and the weather was ok.
Roads filthy and it was cold but it was great to be out again with the roof down
Couldn't find a café open for a cuppa though :(
Anyone else get out on New Year's Day?

Only a short trip to drop my daughter off but roof down and woolly hat on, love all those jealous looks I get, or are they thinking look at that w##ker. Don't care just love the drive.

God effort Paul.

Perry got out today.

The South West boys were planning to get out Sunday, but my car is still in pieces at the moment.
Roof has to go back in tomorrow morning and then 4 new tyres tomorrow afternoon if all goes well.
Then if it does, I suspect it will P\$$ down Sunday to finish things off !

i re taxed mine this morning. I only had a short drive but it felt great to get back behind the wheel

my coupe is awesome :D

Are you not finding it to warm for winter tyres, or are they just winter wheels?

Had 4 new GoodYear Eagles fitted on the black rims - Steph likes them and I'll take the 27kg weight reduction over the OEMs.

You may have to be patient as the forecast is poor over the next few days - hope all goes smoothly in any case
Saw some photos and a post from Perry I think?

I enjoyed driving my Zed after the break over the holiday - worth the wait

Yes, I was up and out just after it got light, this was taken at Ditchling Beacon, one of the high points of the Sussex Downs - I stuck it on the Post your Zed picture of the day... thread but as this is a NYD-specific thread, it can do double-duty

The climb up to the Beacon from the Ditchling side is one of my favourite bits of road, short, twisty and steep - you climb 525ft in 1 road mile (a lot less as the crow flies).

Not been out in the zed for 5 days :( so quite envious of those who managed to get out for a blast :driving:

Sadly not - neither the weather nor I was up to it :(

I love seeing your car constantly driven though - keep it up  :driving:

That's a great photo Perry - looks like you had a bit of climbing still to do to get that shot :D

I'd lay money on it being alcohol-induced under-the-weatherness.... whisky flu perhaps...

Sadly not, and not for the last 3 weeks. :(

I could'nt sorn it over winter however, 6 months or so is too long to go without a run out, the 6 months on 6 off guys have huge self discipline.

Looks like quite a few Z's out.......we got to bed at 4am and I was up and away by 8.30 for the drive to Thurso for a family gathering.Boring & uneventful journey and like yourselves couldn't find anywhere open for a coffee......couldn't get the roof stowed either, boot packed but it was raining anyway and Baltic.Still great to get a decent journey for a change and now thinking ahead to better weather and plan a few trips/meets.
With a bit of luck it'll be better on my return journey on Monday.

Yep - would make for a special run though after a 6 month wait.

Thurso - that's as far North on the mainland, as you can get on a train I think :o A brave drive this time of year

That's my hometown Paul and a road well travelled by me....500 mile round trip but not a wildy exciting drive for most of the journey and can be heavily policed.
Was a wee bit snowy around Dalwhinnie but car ploughed on.......just knocked the cruise off for safety.
Roll on the better weather.
