Edit - your rears are only 8.5 inches too, if you're thniking about using your original wheels.

108's are 8.0" wide at the front and 8.5" wide at the rear, so you can safely fit 225/40/18's at both ends for winter. 225-width is better than 255-width in snow - the narrower the better (just look at snow tyres on rally cars).Trut01 said:Jeez, this is all quite confusing![]()

I'm running staggered 108's on a 3.0si coupe. Can somebody please confirm what range of winter tyre sizes are OK, particularly on the rears
