Any Z4 owning motorbike riders out there?? What's your ride?

Riding since 1990 and had a multitude of machines over that time. Currently own an old girl - Aprilia RSV Mille Gen 1 with a good few performance mods - 2-2 stainless system, Evoluzione race airkit, Forza FR200 ECU chip and 16/44 gearing.

Main bike is currently a K1300S in Lava Orange with a few mods and a BMW Akrapovic can.

I'm also one of a handful of fire and rescue service instructors for 'Biker Down' which is a free multi agency course which teaches riders how to safely manage the scene of a collision and affords trauma care training to keep downed riders alive until the emergency services are in attendance.

Stunning bikes, I imagine that the Mille is lively! :)

... and Great work with 'Biker Down' for when things go wrong, hopefully I'll never be a customer but it's good to know that proficient hands may be on the scene

Riding over 40 years, this is by far the best bike I've owned.

Love these. Used to work for Motorrad a few years back. The San Marino blue looks great on it.

I've had two Thunderbird Sports, one red and one yellow, both with the iconic twin exhausts on one side. It's embarassing how many Hinckley's I've had....... Tigers, Daytona's, Explorers and more!

So I got it as a swap for a Raleigh Chopper ca.1978. It's been a kind of a rolling restoration ever since. Should have kept the Raleigh Chopper I think

What’s that, an nsu of some type? :?

NSU Quickly 1956 model Rob. Don't know much more about it than that, apart from the fact that it was owned previously by a parish vicar. Don't laugh, they weren't paid that much in those days.

That's great! Much more interesting than a Chopper. After all most boys had Choppers when I was a kid, but nobody had one of those when they were old enough.

"Quickly"? as ironic as caravans called Swift or Rallye :)

But if you get it on the road you will get more interest in it than in a modern transformers clone

In a moment of weakness last week, this arrived. 450 MK3 Desmo, lovely, built 1972 ish, so one rider for nearly 48 years. Provenance longer than your arm, always a front runner successfully raced throughout Australia and New Zealand.1-3.jpg4-3.jpg8-3.jpg
