Amazon bargain springs!!!!

Wow, this IS low. And that's coming from someone who had probably the lowest Z4-on-Eibachs known to man (no idea why my Eibachs appeared to be lower than other forum members). Absolute bargain at the price though.

I was under the impression FK were decent quality: Eibach/H&R up at the top, FK somewhere in the middle, Apex/Pi towards the bottom of the scale...

They look good but I know I'd be bottoming out all over the place on these. I already struggle with my drive on the standard setup.

Thanks! im loving the look at the moment and for the price im laughing. Multistory car parks are a no go and grounds out on the cat and speed bumps are ok if taken slowly. So as a whole they are tolerable but you do have to be a little more careful !

They are on m sport dampers and yes its safe. Ride quality is really good, a little firm of course but handling is great. Not an MOT failure.

Wow... Looks great, i would love to have mine that low... But practically the fangs on my m front would be destroyed within a few hours.

They look a little too low for my liking

I live in North London and have to negotiate 30 to 40 speed bumps on my daily commute. I scrape the bottom of the front bumper occasionally as it is. With these I'd have no bumper left after a week. :)

Well, after the week you'd have no bumper to cause the problem - problem solved lol :P

How hard would it be to fit the rears myself?

In case anyone is interested, found this....

about as hard as taking a dump. seriously easy.

be aware they are pretty firm springs  the z4's ride doesn't exactly absorb the bumps as standard but these make it about twice as hard. not terrible, just really firm.

I recently lowered my car on H&R springs, admittedly a bit more expensive but it was a big drop similar to the FK's!

Since lowering the handling feels perfect, the car looks perfect BUT I do have to go 1mph over speed bumps otherwise the bumper catches.

Small price to pay in my opinion when it makes the car look as good as it does!

I can't comment on the ride difference too much as when I bought the car I had the springs ready and the current fitted springs had snapped.
