Amazon bargain springs!!!!

Get what you pay for/Cheap for a reason?

For £25 I'm prepeared to give it a go, especially as I'll be fitting them myself. I can understand if you do not have the skills and would have to pay someone to do it for you, it would work out costly.
In my case £25 and a few hours of my time, if it doesn't work it will be a revert to original set up and an admission to my mistake.
If however I'm satisfied with the ride and appearance... It will be two fingers to the doubting Thomas's of this forum!

What is needed to swap fronts, and roughly how long to do?

I've got spring compressors somewhere (cheap ones), socket set, torque wrench... currently no jack, but should be able to get one. I have axle stands.

The garage are quoting a fair amount to fit... I've done rears before, just not fronts.

Thats pretty much all you need and some good strength especially for loosening the strut clamp bolt... Its a bugger! Spray lube did the trick :D

Jobs not hard on the front ! Just takes time. The hardest part is getting the new spring back on the strut. Good write up on here. Rears are a simple, 5min job.

Have seen these in the flesh now. Looks great. Really low and aggressive stance :)

That's ridiculously cheap. As said, if you've got the means to fit these yourself then it's easy enough to try. Rear are incredibly easy but we had issues fitting the front Eibachs to my Z4. when we removed the top part, the strut contracted and we couldn't get it to extend again! Required the boys in blue (Kwikfit) to help us out with a quick fix for a tenner in the back pocket of a mechanic. Not sure if my dampers were screwed or whether that all do that, just something to potentially be aware of.

LukeMace, Despite being lowered on H&R's the drop seems the same, having to take it very slow over bumps but I don't mind, gives others a chance to admire the ZED as much as I do!

Post back your results as I've opted not to space my fronts with the lowering incase of rubbing on full lock.
