Well It could've been worse, it could've happened at silverstone leaving you with an undrivable car and no insurance, anyway for what its worth im glad your ok and hope you get things sorted out to your advantage.
Now you see if it was me no one would give a flying F***
ugghh... I just hope its dry in 2 weeks time as I found out today one of the competitors is a 650bhp evo 8

We all care. I've seen various threads concerning people having accidents in their car, everyone gets mostly the same attention. Although I do think this thread has a lot more pages worth of condolences.
It does have quite a few pages but then there are a couple of good reasons....

I kissed the airbag three years ago when I had a 2.2 not much fun, cut my forehead with my RayBans, although I was never an 'oilpainting' anyway. Are you fixed up with a courtesy car etc? My BMW stealer was really on the ball and I ended up with a 5 series ragtop while mine was repaired. It looked a lot worse than yours if that's any consolation. If I can work out how to do it I'll post a pic of mine, it should cheer you up!

Not bothered to put it in sport mode yet but i'm sure i will be doing. Don't think i'll be using the semi auto, i'm still looking for the invisible clutch so i can't be doing with learning another way of driving it in the frame of mind that i'm in, i just can't be arsed with things it's really affected me emotionally

Thanks z head, i've ended up with a 2009 320d. They were giving me a 2008 2.0 Z4 Roadster but then the insurance company said i couldn't have it because of my age, even though i have a 3.0 one insured with them :?
I'd really appreciate a picture if you could. Then maybe i won't feel so bad knowing that worse states have been repaired.

I'm off to get checked out this afternoon (that's the earliest i could get and it's not even with my usual GP i have to go somewhere else, surgeries are rubbish around here)
Think i'm going to book in for some acupuncture, and then going to make a nice claim!

So sorry to read your bad news, hope you are OK, as there were lots of pages I haven't read to see if you have any injuries.

Just spoke to Sytner's. Car will be fixed, 11,000 worth of repairs :shock:
He said there's about 2 weeks of work to get it right again so i'm looking at having it back in about 3 weeks once it has been approved by the insurance company etc.
It's got to have new suspension where the impact was. And luckily when the front wing was pushed back it is only cosmetic so it has not bent anything underneath or anything like that.

Good and bad news they can repair it.
The insurance company of the guy who hit you will no doubt pay for the repairs, but they don't pay for the money you may loose come re-sale time with it being logged as a repaired vehicle and money you may loose on insurance, even if it's protected, come renewal time!! All not fair considering it's not your fault!

I am just so happy that it can be repaired. I've had a look at other Z4's and Z4 M's that are for sale and there are some nice one's but none with such a unique interior like mine, the interior was the decider on what made me get this one. My criteria was a 3.0si Coupe prefably with the individual bi colour leather and dash, and when i saw this one i just had to have it. There are no others for sale like it so i am glad i won't have to get a new one that i'm not 100% happy with.
And after speaking to Pete at Sytners on the phone he's put my mind at ease that it's mainly cosmetic damage so it's not bent or anything. He's cheered me up a lot i'll give him that
