(we're not like regular drivers!). Bit of a late reply but im really sorry to hear about your car. From your other threads you can tell its a girlie love thing with it 
As everyone has said at least no one got hurt and fingers crossed you get the car sorted. No ideal but i would lean towards write off but its hard to say from the pics.

Glad everyones OK. As said listen to robbs advice.
If the suspension is good that might be a relatively quick fix but dont expect to be back in it too soon. I had my s2000 written of.....eventually after 4 months of back and forth deliberating about its value and costs of repairs! That was without any 3rd parties to complicate things.

I've now realised that mine wouldn't move because i think the brake line has snapped, as i remember when i got out of the car it was pissing fluid allover from that area.
The suspension is ok i think, that area seemed to be intact. I'm just worried about the fact that it's pushed some things back like the passenger wing panel causing the passenger door to not open. Really hope it's not that serious.
I'll be devestated if it has to be written off. I would rather be in hospital and know that my car will be ok, rather than me be ok and the car be a mess.
I seem to be fine, although i still have a headache. I had it all day and night yesterday but thought it would go away once i had been to bed and slept it off, but it was still there when i woke up this morning, and sometimes i go dizzy when i get up. My neck seems to be getting a little achey too but not bad.
Oh and i hate my hire car. It's a 2009 320. Doesn't sound too bad when you say that. But it's a silver, 5 door, automatic, diesel cloth seated grandad mobile!! You can hear the diesel coming before you see it :lol: And i hate this autospastic gearbox, i keep looking for the invisible clutch. If it was a 330 or 335 then i could live with it a bit more. But it's a bloody 2.0. I'm going to use it as little as possible.

Whiplash does take a couple of days to manifest itself, go get it checked. That said, I cannot stand people that file false claims! Girl friend got into an accident, went to hospital got xrays, saw chiropractor etc but decided against it. Other people refused attention, walked home after 5 mins (leaving their car in the middle of the road near Paddington station) and then filed a claim some 4 months later. :x

If i were you i would go see your doc to get checked out, i didnt have a choice after mine as i was strapped to a stretcher and zoomed away in the back of an ambulance.
Make sure you look afer yourself you dont want it to develop into back pain in a few months and have not got it checked out, mine came back as lower back pain which lasted about 3 months.

Just seen this post, sorry to hear about the accident Lucy, however your comment about rather being in hospital and your car being ok' suprised me, your lucky as you could have been killed with that truck coming the other way !
I know a guy who is now in a wheelchair after a smash, i am sure he would have done anything NOT to have gone to hospital....
hope it all turns out ok, which i am sure it will.

Hopefully, on the car front, I hope they'll be able to get it as you want. It's pretty clever what they can do these days with repairs, don't forget to use your feminine charm to get your own way with things..!! :wink:
Most importantly though, please go and get yourself checked over asap.

... if (heaven forbid) you have an injury that is serious, or even slight, that leads to complications futher down the line - you need to catch it now. If it ends up becoming debilitating (again - heaven forbid) to get compensation (and I'm not suggesting ambulance chasing behaviour) you need to have these things flagged at the time of the occurence.
