68k 2006 (56) ///M roadster £13k SOLD

mr wilks

Lifer
 Lancashire
SOLD

Yep time to part company :( all round been another fantastic Z4M to own , along with many days out & weekends away ive just returned from a 10 day trip to France & it drove as you would hope it would :driving: never missed a beat .

Its a 56 plate in titanium silver with black interior & has the desirable carbon weave trim .
Not many extras over the factory options but does have heated memory seats , parking sensors & bluetooth .
Both exterior & interior is in what i would describe as very good order but its a 68k / 12 yr old used car so minor flaws & imperfections are to be expected .

MOT is mid June 2019 & in all its previous tests only ever had 1 fail ( insufficient fluid from washer jets )

Service history
Running in 1150m 2007 Bmw
oil service 10100m 2008 Bmw
ins1 23000m 2011 Bmw
oil service 32800m 2013 Bmw
oil service 39000m 2014 indy
Ins2 46800m 2015 indy
oil service 55070m 2016 indy
ins1 61300m 2017 indy

( I bought the car March 2018 on 65000 )

oil service ( Indy ) 65600m June 2018 changed to Millers CFS 10w60 along with gearbox & diff oil also changed to Millers / additionally at this service i had MOT + coolant / brake fluid changed so as you can see from 2013/32800m the car has been way over serviced for the usual ///M requirements
Dash currently indicates 11800 until next service , roof motor recently relocated to the boot & functions perfectly , all discs / pads are a way off needing replacement so no reason why new owner should have any looming spend on any maintenance in the next 10k / 15k miles .

Its on Eibachs & alloys are quality aftermarket 19inch staggered Veemann Fs34 in gloss graphite grey , bought brand new in May & still unmarked with 4 matching Continental Sport 5 tyres 5.5/6mm tread remaining on all

Being sold with standard oe backboxes & air intake with private plate removed .

Original handbooks , service book & 2 keys present
Factory supplied toolkit , inflation kit & first aid kit also with the car

I'm in Lancashire for viewing , not planning to SORN until December so happy to take anyone interested out for a drive

Cracking car this, having seen in the flesh recently.

The colour really shows off the lines on the zed.

Beautiful. Depreciation free motoring right there! To think my mate paid £18k for a Fiesta ST line on the weekend.... :headbang:

Have to agree Steve, I’ve seen in the flesh too on a number of occasions, great car 8) :driving:

Can’t see it hanging aound for long . A cracker of a car with nothing to do but drive it and polish it.

Thanks for all the positive comments chaps , i appreciate its a tough market right now so i'm braced for 4-6-8 weeks sale period & if no takers by then will SORN into spring
A thought Re the graphite wheels , i also have another set of Veemann 19s listed on forum , no hassle to swap the sets if that was more appealing to any prospective buyer . they are also 19inch , virtually brand new Fs37 with 5-7mm Michelin Supersports fitted

Having brought a car from Andy,( e89 35i,) I can whole heartedly confirm to any prospective buyer that you would not be dissapointed when buying from mr wilks.

Also having spent a few days in front of and behind this car can confirm it is a stunning example and as said previously will want for nothing for a good long time.

So to sum up BUY with CONFIDENCE, I did and haven't stopped smiling since.

Stuart

Lovely looking M this in just the colour and spec I would probably go for.
Whats next then Mr Wilks, still sticking with a Z4 or on to pastures new?

Tbh this is a half hearted toe in to selling , its not up anywhere else as i'm still having the should i ? shouldn't i ? wrangle with myself over parting as in the past i have sold certain cars only to regret soon after & the current Z market being what it is i'm wondering if next April / May won't be a better time whilst i enjoy a few more outings in it over the winter

As someone who tends to grow attached to cars (my zed was supposed to be staying for just one summer but its still here three and a half years later and a ton of mods and cash thrown at it) I totally understand that. There's a few I've sold over the years that I wish Id kept.

I'd have expected a little interest for this by now.
It looks a cracker and in the best colour too

Zeds looks great in any colour. 8) The metallics though just add that little bit more to the Bangle flame surfaces my for me.

Update for those who like to follow the ///Market , last week had a private buyer very keen on the car but little chance of us meeting on price with his max budget of £11500 & similar situation with a trade buyer who contacted me today with his "very serious offer " of £11200

Its currently on ebay https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/292813258987?ViewItem=&item=292813258987
& also on Pistonheads https://www.pistonheads.com/classifieds/used-cars/bmw/z4m-roadster/bmw-z4-m-roadster--------------2006/9243901
once the ads expire i won't try again until the new year , its pretty much as i expected Re interest & potential buyers , certainly the lowest , slowest market ive known across the whole Z range in the 6+ years ive been involved .

At least it gives me the last weekend in November :) time to brim it up & enjoy some ///Miles out :driving: before garaging it for the winter .
