Nice!

How was the hand over ?
Local (NE) dealership ?

Hand over was good and sales chap was very good. No fuss, asked if I needed any thing knowing I had one before and left me to get on with things

It was Lloyd dealership in Newcastle and can recommend them very highly

So black grills or leave them as they are?

Got a black set off the dealer for free as they had made a slight error along the way but I kind of like the ones on it

Lovely colour and have to agree with the dealership  They loaned me an i8 for a couple of hours so can't be bad. None of the other NE dealerships did that.

We went there when looking for Mrs K's 335xd last June - we waited patiently for 30minutes then decided to walk - only then were we able to speak to a salesman !
It was too late then - she was well pee'd off with the lack of interest shown.
Apparently they were "very busy" - too busy to do £50k of business it seems

All very strange as there is a glut of BMW dealerships in a comparatively small area in and around the Newcastle & Durham area .

Well after picking her up on Thursday last week she now has over 460 miles on the clock and is probably run in due to some brisk driving and lots of fun over the weekend

Are the photos in the Borders around Newcastleton?

Well spotted, just past Newcastleton on the way to Langholm

The road from the A7 thro Cannonbie and Newcastleton and onto Hawick is a cracker!
It's the B6357

Dropped the car off at The Polishing Company in Cramlington yesterday for a full Ceramic Pro treatment and hopefully get her back later this week - she should look stunning after the treatment as it really brings out the colour and shine

Look forward to seeing the results. Bought some polishing gear from them when they had a stall at last years Classic car show at Corbridge.

Ahh, I was there with them on the stand with the RS6. Posted some pics on a different thread but will add them to this thread tomorrow
