2016 Scottish runs,Braemar,Etc,SATURDAY 7TH MAY

I forgot my log in details a while back and sent an email but never received a reply. It was just a few days ago that I re-registered with different email.
I had 2.5 E85 which I sold about 6 years ago and bought R32. 4 years ago I bought 35i and that is when I first registered on the forum.
I now only use it as a weekend car and drive a, believe it or not, a Mii sport to/from work. Its a great little car!! Once I have saved enough I will replace Mii with Golf R estate but plan to keep zed for a while. I love it! Once I remember how to post pics, will do so. Re the run, wife isn't feeling too good just now so need to see how she is on fri before making decision.
 
Just HAD to google the forecast for the weekend....looks like Sunday will be the hotter day but Sat should be decent and Monday supposedly to hit 24°C.As long as it's not raining I'll be happy.
BTW Ibiza is "only" early 20°C's :rofl:
 
All sounds good. Weather good. Booked a room in Perth for Friday so all set apart from a Zed!!

Still not got it back from the garage. Waiting on a clip coming so the bumper can be fitted. Should be tomorrow though :thumbsup:

Hope you have it,as u even get a mention in my route info sheet,haha(as we will be saying bye to u in Spean bridge,and having a toilet break).

Shouldn't take them too long to refit the bumper :D

Yeah,be great if it's even dry and sunny...in Scotland,as with most of the UK, you never know, haha.
Here's hoping that we get roof down weather most or all of the day :driving:
 
Hello Craig, me and Mrs Geezah would like to rock up, you are on our doorstep. May not do the whole run and do not require booking for eats etc, we'll take our chances. Wasn't too sure whether we could make it , hence didn't want to muck you around. See you at Maccy D's broxden at 8 am.

No worries,though it will probably be the carpark next to the petrol station,if I remember correctly......will check and post when done,away to clean my car :D
 
Well arrived at Broxden and waiting for my steak with a pint in front of me. :D

Had a great drive down with the sun splitting the sky. Glencoe looked amazing and it's been a while since I did the Crieff road! Had a great wee mini hoon of my own. Great road and was quite empty and certainly didn't get held up. :thumbsup:
 
Road from Aberfeldy to Crieff is one of my favourites!
Enjoy your steak, I'm waiting on a pizza arriving I ordered at 6:30 via just eat but restruant didn't recieve order. Fecking fading away here!

We have about a 90 minute journey to get to Perth so will be an early start.
Craigs journey will be longer than ours too.
 
I couldn't face a six o'clock set off to as I get up early every day although saying that with no traffic on a Saturday and early maybe would have been a bit quicker?

It would take a day or two for me to fade away! :D

Really enjoyed the Crieff road today and don't know which way you will be getting home but the flip side is Loch Lubnaig which is equally awesome!

Decision, decisions :D
