Craig will confirm, but maybe BROXDEN services on outskirts of Perth. There's a fuel stop with food,a large Park & Ride car-park,a Travel lodge sharing a car-park with a restaurant and a McDonalds.

Yes, it is indeed meant to read Broxden,on the outskirts of Perth. Cheers nictrix,highlander.....must have mistyped

MrWilks, enjoy you weekend, some good roads up these areas,as with Scotland as a whole. Spoilt for choice, haha :driving:

Pity you couldn't make the Meet itself tho.

Yeah,I'm in.....BUT(not wanting to sound like a diva!!) if it's going to be pissing down all day I'll give it a miss.......I'm down in Luton during the week and have 2 courses to study for so can use the time constructively if the weather's not playing ball.
If you're booking lunch then probably best not to include me and I'll take the chance on food or grab a sandwich at the garage in Aviemore.....wife staying at home BTW........making the cake with 50+ candles no doubt
I've got a fair idea the route we're taking and it'll be a decent drive so here's hoping the weather's decent........let us all know where at the services we're to meet as the car parks are all obscured from each other........google earth view??
Cheers

Another quick thought........if we head a couple of miles up the A9 to Luncarty and head to Stanley there's a road that takes you on to Blairgowrie which will save us having to go thru' Perth and possibly getting split up/wasting time.

I have pretty much sorted the route, already in my plans not to do that much of the A9, I have a saved route, and it shoukd be good.....
Think this may be in my rout already, but not wanting to give too much away on a public forum,so that too many ppl know where a bunch of sports car drivers will be in nice, sporty cars :D
Cheers for the thought

No worries,I'm OK with a showery day...it's Scotland after all, just don't want to be out all day with no chance of folding the roof and no scenery to look at because of mist/low cloud base and no photo ops.
See you at Broxden

Think we're staying at the Huntingtower hotel (we've stopped there before) but that's the boss ladies choice

Count me in, thanks Craig - looking forward to it, hopefully the weather will match the good turnout :).

I'm away with work next week but fairly free after that if you need a hand with planning etc.
