The black roof is something that should work but I'm not keen on it in the pictures makes the proportions look a bit weird.

As already said, the black roof spoils the coupe look. Don't think it's a goer on the Zed. I would prefer the A pillars in body colour for the same reason.

The funny thing about all the black roof haters is that convertibles have been mostly black roofed for years...

Yep that's why I said it should work ... I like evoques/ minis and carbon roofed z4 coupes.. So I'm not against black roofs but I wouldn't go for it on an e89 .. Unless it was Yellow .. Then it would look pretty cool.
