Just looking at that one on collecting cars, I'm not surprised it went for what it did. The airbox and wheels, assuming you like them, must easily add £1500-2000 over and above a standard example. It's also a fairly rare colour.
The only thing that struck me as strange was the beige seat plastics and door cards. I thought the M always came with grey/black plastic with just the leather inserts changing colour?
Fwiw, I also think the paint looks good. Minor swirls are a non issue and I'd argue that the road rash is par for the course. You can't expect a 12 year old, 90k car to be perfect.

Yes fairly bought and well sold, the reserve was 12k. Even taking the interior trim swap into account, if it had been in NZ this guy would have been all over it

Looked lovely under the bonnet, and no sign of corrosion around the wheel arches or engine furniture. Love the Monaco Blue, we have a Nightblue 4 coupe Si.
