Zfest 09

I grew up in Wheeling. I DON'T have that 'Wheeling Feeling'...

Yea, there are some good roads in WV. Just don't feed the humans....

Hopefully IMZ4N and COOLZ4 will be going and we can Z-a-van together again. :headbang: :headbang:

Convoys: I have created a convoys page on the website (See http://zfest.com/convoys.htm)

Give me your convoy details and I'll add yours.

I am wearing my foxhat
Wait!! Did he say Cincinnati ??

Cheers!

I didn't see a "sign up" for the world record convoy. Is that still on? Sounds like an easy one to break if there are anywhere near as many cars there as were at HC '08.

No need to signup. We will gather in the King's Island Parking lot for the Panoramic Photo on Friday afternoon and then we'll convoy to the riverboat (about 25 miles) for the cruise and dinner.

HMMMM, this Z event is starting to add up. Almost everything X 2, plus food, gas, hotel on the way. I know what you're saying about event programs, insurance, King Island, It'll be close to a thousand bucks before it's all said and done. Have to think abour it, not that I don't think it's worth it, just have to prioritize. :?

I tried to get enthusiastic about this event, really did, registered with Chris for the pre registration emails etc. Unfortunately for me, I'm not feelin it. At the end of the day, I'm really more of a BMW enthusiast than a Z enthusiast. Looks like the Auto-X event is up in the air too due to Kings Island getting cold feet. I hope everyone going has a great time (I know you will), unfortunately I'm going to pass on this one. Perhaps we can do a Z4-forum mini event somewhere?

That too woudn't be the same without the Hawg Hunter in the silver Z4M

I am really sad that I gave up such a fun event. I will be there with ROADCAR in spirit, but my body will be exploring Alaska on the adventure of a lifetime. Catch ya all in '10 and nothing will be able to pull me away!

You go, girl!!!!!! You'll have to print out a picture and send. We'll post it on the momma duck so you can drive in the convoy! I hear they're thinking of the west coast for '10.

I am glad to hear it will be closer to home in 10, perhaps. I had heart set on 09, had hotel and am already registered! ARGH! Someone got a surprise when they were notified of a room becoming available. Until the next get together I enjoy my car every day and not to make any one jealous, well, ok I admit I am happy to report I drive to and from work top down every day! Taking special tour cruise with very dear friend as their swan song to cruises, due to health reasons. 7 days touring Alaksa, Fairbanks, Denali, Anchorage and other places along the way before boarding ship for 6 day cruise to Vancouver. Life, is all about choices, may we have them always! :driving: :driving: :driving: :driving: :driving: :driving: :driving: :driving:

Registration will open on Feb 28th.

10:00 AM Pacific Time
11:00 AM Mountain Time
12:00 Noon Central Time
1:00 PM Eastern Time

Just checked the website, the Guinness World Record page on ZFest and the record for BMW is 107??????

Fiat has a record of 500. Heck had we done this at HC 08, we could have blown them all out of the water. There were over 600 Zs there.

Only problem is, I don't think I can get on right at 1, dang it. I may have to carry the laptop and find a hotspot somewhere.

My wife and I have decided that Zfest09 is not in the cards. Especially with me saving for my ///M.

I have not canceled my room. If any one wants it let me know and how to give my reservation to you.

We just checked the on-call schedule for hubby and we may not make it either. We probably won't make it in San Fran in '10. We're going to try to get to Oktoberfest in Atlanta this year, though.

Yeah, I think it will be fun, but we've got to get registered. I imagine it's at least as hard to get into as HC. Plus, this will give him something to look forward to since all models will be there-maybe we'll bring his X5.
