Zfest 09

If you have not noticed, I am not participating in this years 'fest. I just can't justify the cost versus location for this one. Vegas, L.A. New Orleans, hell yeah! Hope you all have a good time, and send plenty of pics :wink:
 
ovrkll, you going to O'fest? I have to fly out of town the day of registration so it might be tight. Road Atlanta looks like a blast!

This is where that message came from on my phone. I'm like Zfest? What zfest? I registered for bimmerfest is that it?
I forgot all about this.

Petition to get it moved to Vegas!
Do i have any aye's?
 
Or even some place like Charlotte or Atlanta--big tracks there and close enough to do a factory tour plus run the mountain roads.

To be fair, though, a few folks stepped up to the plate and are holding it somewhere close to them. If you want to move it somewhere else, I'm sure they'd appreciate the help in planning next year.

I am not able to go either as I can't get away that week which is a shame as it's not that bad a drive from where I live... :(

Yep, unfortunately. Schedules just don't work for 09 and I don't see a cross country trip right now in our future for 10.

Why don't we plan our own weekend somewhere? We could call it "PirateZ-forumfest" - I'm serious... How about we all get on planes and hookup with 2dogs in GB :thumbsup: Or Atlanta GA with Phil!

So, how do we get into Road Atlanta/VIR/Charlotte????

We going to try to get up at Oktoberfest? Sometime sooner??? Hell, we can all meet in the mountains and run the Dragon a few times and stay at one of those nice resort kinda places (well, we could *take over* one of those places.......arrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr)
 
Flew into Colorado Springs today. Dang, my knees are killing me--those danged Embraer jets have no leg room at all. :x


Got our motto for the meet out of a sky mall magazine: to err is human, to arrrrrrrrrrrr is pirate!
