Hey Jim - so I trawled through my photobucket account and this is the best I can do - I've got shots in pub car parks but not with pubs in the shot.

Actually, while the sign still stands, the joint itself is long gone.

That shot was taken in Apache Junction, Arizona, east of Phoenix. Not far away is the town of Superior, where many movies have been filmed over the years, including one of my all-time favorites, The Gauntlet (1977) starring Squint Eastwood at his finest. In this scene, he hassles a bunch of bikers. This was probably shot very near where my pic was taken above...
