ZEDfest 2022 14th August

Anyone planning to go for the day on Sunday morning from the Lougton, Essex area?
Will be here from overseas and it could be a nice day out. I’d happily ride shotgun.

I would love to ride shot-gun with anyone going up Sunday am from South West London or anyone travelling from North of there, any route from London possible.

I am looking for a low mileage 2006 - 2008 E85 N52 3.0 si Sport roadster in a silver / grey / medium blue btw for reasonable money, happy to get my hands busy on it too if it is basically clean underneath and a non CAT.

Hey this looks like a great meet, I thought I'd missed it when I saw the Donnington Park BMW meet has just been last weekend.

Looks like I’ll be going, I don’t live that far so will drive down Sunday morning, it will be nice to put some faces to the names on here.

I am looking for a low mileage 2006 - 2008 E85 N52 3.0 si Sport /M roadster in a silver / grey / medium blue btw for reasonable money, happy to get my hands busy on it too if it is basically clean underneath and a non CAT.

I think the problem for you (and Bonbon further up) is that most people going to Zedfest from the Home Counties will be going up on Saturday and staying at the Link hotel which is what I'm doing! Unless you can get a room there.

Shame you didn't post a bit sooner though as I had a spare seat yesterday for Donington.

Have you seen this advert - it's not far from you either:- https://z4-forum.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=117040

I'm sure you know but a 3.0Si and an M are a very different ownership proposition. Anyway good luck with your search.

Thanks for this and yes would have been good, was there a lot to see that interested you at Donington?

You're right about my recollection, I guess the emphasis is on the Sport suspension, I seemed to recall, probably wrongly knowing my memory, that there was a version that had the M Sport steering wheel and suspension. Not interested in the M3 derivative engines atm, building up to that, thanks for correction thumbs-up :-)

No problem, I'll reply on your "wanted" thread to avoid going off topic on here.

Just to clarify - what is the admittance procedure if I show up in a rented car (not a Z)?

You will need to park up near by and walk in. Site will not want to be contaminated with non Zed's

(Maybe i'm wrong ?)

:?

please remember that any other car which is not a BMW Z series will be asked to park in public car park.

I will be travelling on Sunday from Spalding.
My route will be Bourne to Colsterworth, Melton Mowbray, Loughborough (ish).
If anyone is going that way, let me know if you want to meet on the way.

Hi all, is anyone travelling to Zedfest from the Grimsby area, I have secured a deal on a Z4 wheel arch liner in the DN37 area and if it wasn’t too much trouble would you collect it for me and I’ll meet you at Zedfest. A lot to ask but if you don’t ask you don’t get.
TIA
