If anybody is coming from the East along the A6006 from Melton, there is a big layby about a mile east of the where the A46 crosses it. It's called Sixhills layby. Any offer of meeting there at 9.30 ish?

Hello,

If anyone is interested meeting from the Warwickshire area (Leamington Spa, Kenilworth, Warwick etc.) before hand, Two of us are meeting at Chesford Grange Hotel (CV8 2LD) at 09:00/09:15-ish. It is a 45 min away and getting there via A46/M1. It'll be good to grow the convoy if possible.

I live near Shepshed, I was on the A6 yesterday and there is a very annoying one way traffic control system just south of the turn to Shepshed causing a bit of a tailback both ways.

Not too bad, just a word of warning.

if your coming through Loughborough i would recommend you go via M1 j 23 and come through Shepshed that way. If you coming from the north then J24 head up towards the air port / Donington services then take first left on Kegworth bypass. at the end turn right at round-a-bout
