Z4MR - Unreasonable Deal??

Kind of back on topic, this M was just shy of £18k a few months ago, now looking closer to the price it should be IMO -

27k miles, registered Dec 2008, only 1 owner, should be a lovely buy for someone as it is very well spec'd. I think James Paul are a reputable dealer too ? I bet it needs taxed by now - get that and a service thrown in and it would be a bargain.

That is lovely.... not sure it's worth an extra £5k than I paid yesterday though :D :D

i thought that a dual mass flywheel was designed to absorb the shocks of clutch engagement and release, cant see why it would therefore need a secondary tier of protection in the form of the cdv. an old style clutch driven plate had a few coil springs within it to absorb the shock and was deemed adequate for nearly a century, modern cars are in many ways over complicated to the detriment of the vehicle. take these new hydraulic slave cylinder/ clutch release bearings. you used to be able to change a slave cylinder outside of the bellhousing for 30 quid, now its a clutch out job, madness surely :headbang: :headbang:

Old cars didnt have 340 bhp and tyres like like steam rollers though..

Time and tech moves on.....Sometimes good, sometimes not..

I bought my car from James Paul. I paid a little bit less for my Imola Z4M on similar miles and similar spec. They are very good and had some lovely cars in stock at the time. They specialise in BMW's and it would appear they sell a LOT of Z4M's. The dealer told me that they sell very well. Infact, somebody offered them £500 more than the price I had agree'd with them the day before I flew down to buy it. Thankfully I had placed a deposit. One thing though, they are very reluctant to come down on price and getting tax thrown in was a complete no go.
