Hi guys

Proud new owner of a alpine white z4mc whose pervious owner is a member of the forum and recommended I joined so some of you guys may be know my newly named manolo.

After a month of ownership I can only described the car as being amazing! Used as my everyday car I find myself waking up early as I'm looking forward to my drive to work although this isn't very far away I'm just loving every minute behind the wheel!

Couple of questions, firstly my clock is an hour forward. I have set the time but everytime it's switched off it changes. I have tried to update the satnav software which has changed the Bluetooth screen language to French and I have tried a hundred times to connect my phone but its not working for me!

Any suggestions? I have ordered a version 32 cd from the 'stealers' hoping that this will fix all three problems.

Thanks in advance

:)

:worthless:

Congratulations on the car, but please let us have a look at it!

I haven't seen a white ///MC for a while, where did you find it? I'll be looking over the coming months so need to know if I've missed a source!

Brilliant, a few hours after I embarrass myself professing how I want a white coupe, a new one turns up :headbang:

Can't wait to see pics

And let me know when you want to swap for a roadster

Hello and Welcome!

Do you have an Intravee fitted? As far as I know the Zed can't take a time signal from the RDS or gps feed, and the only way I know of to keep it updated from the GPS signals is an Intravee. That needs configuring from its menu then it will work just fine. If you don't have one I'm stumped. My ford takes its clock from the GPS and I just need to tell it whether DST is in effect.

French nav is a well known symptom of a hacked firmware image. Have you used v32.2 (hacked) or a factory disc? The current supported official release is v32

For your phone, try the procedure to clear all existing pairings then try to connect again. That's fixed it for a number of people on here

A few pics guys..

Steven I found the car on pistonheads and put a deposit before seeing it!

Lol thanks woots but happy with my coupe for now.

Stuart I do have intravee fitted.. I will have a play with the menus tomorrow.. The disc is hacked but I have ordered a factory disc.. I'm thinking the disc may be making the Bluetooth more difficult then it should be although I have heard it can be tricky.

Thanks for the tips

Manolo, Welcome to the forum! Stunning example!

+1 for Stuart Truman, with the phone fix. I did that and all was sorted.

Enjoy the ///M!

That is so so gorgeous  I am seriously in love, white suits it loads, oh & by the way welcome to the forum :)

Enjoy :driving:

The Bluetooth is a well known faff

On the Intravee, go into the extras menu, setup clock menu and you'll see a DST setting. You can get it to take this from the RDS signal although mine didn't work. I just manually put it to 0 or +1 depending on time of year

If you don't have an asterisk next to auto set you might want to enable it as this will keep the clock updated to the super accurate gps satellite clocks. That won't do the DST though, you'll still need to change that manually or try and update it via RDS.

That's a great looking car!

Wow, my standards must be slipping, I check PH at least 6 times a day and can't remember seeing this one.

Must check more carefully in future!

welcome, a coupe looks great in any colour, but white is pretty rare, i think it looks stunning, shows off the shape well. dont like the look of the dodgy stack of pallets , way too close, you need to take some defensive parking lessons to avoid the asda car park trolley dint brigade, a half mile normally suffices!!!

You could have had it, it was advertised on here...maybe if it had been a female seller you would have noticed :poke:

Manolo, a very nice car

Thanks for the comments guys :)

Steven I think it was only on pistonheads for a day before input a deposit down

Stuart I will try that in the morning.. Thanks!

Whilst fitting the intravee I did notice a small puddle under the carpet in the boot just behind the brake lights.. Again any suggestions?

Worth every penny

Agree, those pallets look a little precarious!
