I think he meant "Do you offer an oustanding finance package on this car"... Perhaps pay nothing for a year, then three years interest free credit, with a free Parker pen just for enquiring :D

My mate bought my last car of me and I gave him interest free finance, and I had to chase him! so I don't think I'll be offering that again in a hurry! :lol:

Why is this relevant? Surely if there's finance on a car it would show up as part of any checking process that any potential new owner would do as a matter of course? Or am I missing something?

It would be relevant because if there was finance on the car then some people might be put off purchasing it because of the extra hassle involved in paying off the finance company, doing a CHAPS transfer etc. etc....

Regardless, it doesn't have any so no problems there. 8)

after all that and as much as I was trying to sell it, it was sad to see, and hear it go as the new owner gave it a little squirt away :cry: :cry:

I think 'smeg' will have a very nice drive down the road, nice to meet you mate enjoy :driving:
