Z4MC Silver grey 38k miles FSH

Sorry for not updating this thread but I have had a lot on recently! The car is still for sale but wont be available until the end of next week. Reason being I recently heard some troubling noises coming from the vanos unit and immediately drove down to my local specialist on all things BMW (A reeve performance in Kings Lynn) Who confirmed my fears that the vanos needs a rebuild. He is currently doing that and uprating all the bolts and common fail points on these and giving it a service for good measure. This is costing me the best part of 1k so the asking price is a firm 20k if anyone still wants to buy it.
 
Good on you for getting it fixed then selling it and not lumbering an unsuspecting new owner with a serious problem :thumbsup:

Yep i'm well aware i'm asking top money for the car so it needs to be in top condition. I guarantee the first serious person to view it will buy it!

Excessive noise and slight knocking is what I took it in for and they agreed it was too noisy for normal operation. So we played it safe and replaced it.
