tipical a ford bloke, what the hell would you do with a LHD car in the uk. ......... i alway knew you ford guys were a bit down on the reading part

BMW stands for Blote meiden wagen ( yeah take that throug google translate ) and you'll see why the BMW drivers in holland have the better looking girls than ford drivers.

In defence of Mike I think his fishing produced some spectacular results!
To be fair when i bought my Z4MR i knew it was a hairdressers car but that didnt worry me, you cant buy a soft top car without people laughing at you its just par of the course!
The problem is i like Fords aswell, if i carry on like this i will get banned from my favourite forum!!
Its all good fun banter, every one likes different things its what makes the world go round, i thought i liked Audi`s till we bought one, now that is a terrible brand

Even if I was sad enough to own one, I'd hardly bother putting a Daewoo Lanos in the garage .

ferrari/lambo/porka/supercars + too young = spiv or dadys car
anything sporty + too old = mid life crisis
x5 or other such large blacked outwindow car = dealer

VX = chav
anything with the stereo on too loud = chav
audi A4 diesel = rep/nobba (formerly drove 3 series)

personally i would love to have the chance to have a go in one of those escorts. the timing of them coincded when i was a kid and they were the hot hatch to have. i like roaster type cars engine up front long bonnet sitting over the back axle etc. anyway we all know the mx5 is the hairdressers car.

Its a nightmare as most cars will be stereo typed , i remember being in my TVR i had just parked up got out & a couple of yoofs shouted " look at him in daddys car! " what do you say to that? you just cant win!

Something with more than 400bhp then falls into the "man's car" territory (as in a car your other half would be scared of driving, not look better suited behind the wheel than you do

now i understand why the rest of europe find you uk guys a little weird ( but funny). you have quite a car park over there, but al those cars are just not the real deal, not even the M3.
