Z4M what next subtle mods

Ok - i thought i was done but i think i want a few subtle mods on the Z4M for late season/next year - i think im going to leave aeroskirts for now had them on the last one so a case of been there done that and actually i quite like the more subtle line of the std skirt

the bmwcc boys think i should just get the wheels refurbed in OEM Highpower silver but i think i fancy a change for a couple of years

i think ill leave off the Carbon wrap on the fronts wrap on the lower valance it looks great on Dubspeeds coupe but im not sure on a titanium silver Roadster

as always thoughts suggestions welcomed
 
Shadow chrome would be good, I'd also wrap the front too, if you can find a light enough shade of carbon it'll look top, really like how agressive it makes the front.

funnily enough i was wondering whether there was a lighter 3m carbon rather than the dark black - thanks for the photo :thumbsup:

Flash Chrome looks good! Silver cars can pull off silver wheels much better than other colours though.. you could even go brilliant silver with a gloss effect! And Silver also is one of the few that can pull off the carbon front lip too. Sadly i'm not sure there are any colour mods i can do to my car. tempted to carbon wrap the wingmirrors.. and paint calipers - but what colour do you paint calipers on a red car, without going yellow and making it all ferrari-ish?!

I dont like anything darker than Shadow Chrome personally, especially on OEM cars.

I know you say been there done that with the side skirts... But they would look ace. Get a spoiler too - proper marmite mod :evil:
 
Im yet to see a roadster with a proper spoiler? but seen a few coupes with wings on the back??
 
Srhutch's has a spoiler on the back, as does Mr Truman's. If by 'proper' you mean a big f**k off non-OEM wing then I would have to come and beat you to a pulp for suggesting it :poke:

but no i dont class the oem one as a spoiler, wish they made a carbon one like they do for the coupe...

Painting the calipers is simples... Red on Red

Spoiler on a convertible?! :? Deffinately agree about the standart side skirts rather than Aero one. The standard one giove the waist of the car a pinched look which accentuâtes its shapely bottom :oops: OK I'll go get some help now... :P
 
Very nice DONDP, i like! :) I think it needs the white text you have over the top to highlight them though. Did you do this yourself, how hard is it? :O

I'd be tempted to jjust upgrade brakes and get nice calipers as a byproduct, but i always have trouble justifying the price of a full brake upgrade.. OEMs really aren't that bad.

ZermattV - go Flash Chrome and Carbon Lip :D will look great i think.

if your going to spoler the roadster it MUST be the alpina roadster unit.... which i believe has real aero benefits....
 
Bit love/hate on the alpina spoiler

My fave design of the z4 is the boot lid, that lil flick at the back

On further note Byron I studied that thread in detail....is there any forum you aren't a member of?
