op the stress you are giving yourself over this is never worth it, if for arguments sake the stamp was there but the service was'nt actually done, you would be none the wiser but totally happy, the car is super low miles will very probably never miss a beat, my advice whether right or wrong is to put your service book away , go and drive and enjoy the car you longed for , one day when ,a few thousand miles down the road , when you have got to know and trust the car, get out the service book , find a friendly mechanic at a dealer, or independent, and somehow get the book stamped, that will satisfy any potential purchaser, you were told the 1200 service was done, it was oilchanged at 4k anyway, that car will be going fine for many years to come, people on here sometimes spread doom and gloom over issues that at the end of the day dont really matter that much,....bin there wheni bought my carbon black coupe, everything is fine and i love the car but like you ther was a minor issue over length of time between pre delivery check and sale, think about it would you rather have your car with those miles and no stamp or the same car with another 30k on but with a stamp in the book ? which by the way still doesent catorgorically prove bugger all, unless we stand over the mechanics servicing our cars we dont know whats been done really , do we ? and finally as i have said many times before, a fully stamped service book still doesnt mean the car is any better looked after than one cherished by its owner and serviced by an indy. you bought the car for enjoyment,, enjoy it . good luck
