Not had a Z4 since 2006 so this is quite exciting. Used to be a member on here but couldn't remember username or email.

I struggle to see why sellers are using PH auctions to sell their cars. Lots of cars aren't making the reserve prices and the cars that do sell are often at the cheaper end of the market.
Buyers have to account for the PH fees. It's the seller that is losing out. If PH was drawing in a larger customer base and cars commanding premium prices the fees could be justified. However, they aren't.
Congratulations on the purchase mate and tbh I don't think you have paid over the odds - like you say an easy £1k for PH but at least it sounds like you and the seller got what they wantedAMB85 said:It'll sit on my driveway with a Conti GTC, 911 Turbo S, Taycan Turbo S and a Q7. It was an impulse purchase because I used to have a Z4 and bloody loved it, I'm going back to my early 20s with this, albeit it with a bigger budget. The plan is to make it as fast as it'll possibly go, starting with a supercharger. I'll detail everything I do on here.
It'll be fully restored with everything that needs doing on it being done so paying a little over the odds doesn't concern me too much, not that I feel like I did with the intake and the wheels.
