Ill be getting a top up loan of around 9k.
Im happy to do the hard sell when i test drive it and put the deposit down there and then.
The M is going to cost me £20pm more in tax, £30pm in petrol, £30pm in insurance. Probably be able to find a car thats a bit older than the 3.0si for the same money - 27-28k ish.
I do think the M would keep its value better but when you take into consideration the fuel/ins/tax/servicing costs are more its probably overkill for what i need. I only drive it at the weekends see!
