Z4M for sale £14250

It's always hard to set the price right for a sale, speedy sale, and especially a private sale. Many PH cars are from dealers so always a premium there.
As a buyer :) (not an owner) I thought your pricing was fair.

That was my thinking, hard to know where to pitch it, it's ok to go on p.h etc but how many actually sell, I've seen a lot withdrawn only to appear 6, 8 months later for sale again. The amount of owners goes a bit against me as well, I don't think you can put a definite price on these things and as I said I took into account the service and tax needed, ok I've prob shot myself in the foot a little but all due respect to Beedub I think he's being a tad optimistic at 16k. Anyway as I said it's done and if I've lost out a bit it's my own doing and i'l take it on the chin, but thanks for that Darren, I appreciate it mate. :)

Yup that's a good deal and a good car by the looks of it. You're right the prices are all over the place at the moment, as shown in The market watch thread. I picked mine up for £11.7k with 64k miles fully loaded spec from a franchise dealer with warranty, so personally I'd say this is proportionally priced but it's all subjective I guess  I nearly pulled out of my deal to pay £3k more for a different M with 25k less miles, I'd have been interested at that price if this came up 2 weeks earlier!
And you saved £40 by not getting ripped by and bypassing the Autotrader ad listing price 8)

Exactly this ncrossy, there was an imola one for sale @ James Paul recently with around 50k miles I think that was up at 14k, that was a dealer! I remember thinking s**t i'm going to lose out big time when I put mine up, also mine was for sale last summer for about 6wks @ 14,800 with 8 mths tax left, I went up and put my offer in and got it, ok I hav'nt made a profit but I've only lost a couple of hundred so there it is, in the great scheme of things i'ts not the end of the world.

Well with a somewhat heavy heart it's now sold to Krisdelta, very nice chap and a pleasure to sell to, I hope he enjoys it as much as I have, seeing such a nice 1 go is not easy but i'm sure he'll look after it. Thank you all for reading and comments, advice etc, it's genuinely appreciated. Onwards and upwards and any other rubbish cliches'. Roll on the new e89. :)

Cheers Andy, just deciding on final spec. Any date to pick yours up yet?

Not yet John but I reckon it will possibly be this Friday as they are having two alloys refurbished for me so fingers crossed.

Now what model/spec are you going for is it a black one?

Yep fingers crossed for you Andy. Which alloys have you got?
Going for 35is in black with, I think, red leather, and probably stupidly, but 296 alloys, really like them so gambling they don't crack, they can't all crack right. :tumbleweed:

Hi John

Mine has the 296 alloys on so hopefully they all can't crack can they :) I know most prefer the 326 style but for me the 296 are nicer looking alloys and mine is black with red leather a classic combo

There's always got to be an exception to the rule Andy. We'll look like Howard and Hilda if we're ever on the same meet :D

John,

Really nice to meet you yesterday. The car is a cracker and has been clearly cherished, still smells new inside! It was a simple drive home and it soaked up the miles with ease. Interestingly - the clutch is far lighter than the E46 M3 I had for 3 years so it was far more managable around town. I've got the nav working in 3d mode and hooked up an old ipod to the system, not a clue how to control it yet though. Was surprised how little the wheels tramlined on the motorway, a very comfortable cruiser considering what it is. When it stops raining and hailing - I'll get the roof down and pretend it's summer :D

I'm sure you'll enjoy the new Z4, just as capable and quick with a different delivery and slightly more practical. You've got the perfect roads around you for making the most of it.

All the best :)
