Nice!! Love what you've done to the steering wheel. I need to paint mine as they're looking tatty, was going to do them satin black but now I'm thinking shadow chrome to match my wheels :)

Lovely S2000 too  I used to have one. This is it:

Love the seats - assume they weren't stock ??

They were brand new sparco's that i recovered in red leather myself (it was a very very long weekend! and no i'm not a leather upholsterer and had never upholstered anything before)

By the time I finished with it, it looked like this

Poor little S. You evil man.

Thanks man, I may well be interested in the bonnet. Mine has some stone chips that really could do with repainting so pm me with what your looking for. (although money is a bit tight now with a new business venture and all the money I've been pouring into the car recently... + the air conditioning condenser radiator just gained a big hole that it didn't need... doh)

The s2000 has a 6,000 mile nearly new engine in it. I'll put some pics up... engine bay is mint for the year. The car has buddy club coilovers poweflex bushes, many of the parts have been powder coated and lots of rusty screws and bolts replaced with stainless steel. I would love to supercharge it and will do in the near future i'm sure, although i love the fact that I can really thrash it... if it was pushing 450bhp, which many of the sc guys are, i'm not sure whether it would take a way a bit of the fun... only one way to find out guess!

+ Byron... Love that vented bonnet!!

yeah its a fabulous piece..... proper 100% carbon fibre 1/2 weight of the stock item with proper cooling channels to draw out heat from the engine bay, even the vents hae their own channgels and ducts to move water without getting the engine wet :-) its a very nice piece. im rapidly running out of money however as business is rough at the mo so i really need to calm this down alittle now....

its alittle while away but when it arrives and is fitted ill give pixell first refusal, if not ill stick it in the classifieds......

Back on topic, I'm suprised no one has thought of fitting 1" pipe and installing a ball valve in it, tune it to your own taste by opening or closing the valve
If you don't want a clumsy valve get the pipe made in two sections with a flange between the two and have a series of plates that fit in between the flanges with different holes punched in the middle

Right.... the car is in having its 3/4" pipes installed.

Took a before video last night with a stereo recording camera behind the car, reving to 3/5/6.5 k

Assuming all goes well should be able to take a matching 'after' video and get them available for you later........

Chris.

I'd go do it now but its gone pitch black and hasn't stopped raining all day......

It's certainly more raspy, particularly when the engine is cold, looking forward to trying it out with the roof down & the exhausts hot......

The change is subtle, not likely to attract unwanted attention but I would say you notice it a lot in first and second gear, certainly a touch louder....

All in all for around £100 you can't complain..... haven't noticed any performance difference but then it has been soaking all day.....
