The oh-so-crucial piece of hardware between the steering wheel and the seat not withstanding ... most 911's are engineered as race cars then toned down for the streets, whereas BMWs are generally engineered and built for the streets then tuned for a little racing.scotia_steve74 said:Had a bit of an interesting "spirited rive" across 40 miles of the Highlands and mountain roads with an older Porsche 964 (3.6) C2. It was a great laugh but I noticed that the almost 20 year old car was as quick on the straights almost and perfectly planted on the bends at the limit. I was really surprised the Z4M didn't have a bit more grunt in comparison. Although I could keep up and was biting at the heels, I wouldn't have been able to pass the porker. Really suprised me that such an old car (and must be much lighter) was so good!
I sooooo wished my banking account could afford a 4S.

The Boxster is the cheapest Porker just like the Z4M is the cheapest M car. Who cares? The Boxster is the best handling Porsche imo.
I didn't buy it because i couldn't afford a Proper Porsche.... And defo wouldn't say that anyway.
