Z4M Coupe to Join the Crew

Hello All,

I've been meaning to join a forum for a while now having owned the car for about 18 months! I've been looking through some of the posts on this forum and it seems full of great cars/people and loads of helpful advice so I'm here to try and add to that!

Here are some snaps of my 2006 Z4M Coupe, it is mostly standard except for: 19" CSL Alloys, Eibach Lowering Springs, Front Strut Brace, Powerflow Cat Back Exhaust, stubby aerial, black kidney grills & carbon plates.

Hope you all like the car as much as I do!

Cheers, Scott

Hi Scott. We share the same taste ... I know a totally biased opinion but the best colour combination going. CSLs looking great on the car as usual. Welcome along. Where roughly in the country are you?

Hi and welcome :)

Mostly standard he says, with a lot of tasteful mods

Just need some aero skirts to complete the look 8)

Thanks very much Tom and I totally agree about the colour haha. Im from Essex, Does this forum have many meets or show events?

Over Berkshire way. There seem to be a lot of people over your direction. Generally there are a few meets now and then, but again most seem to me to be over your direction so you're in luck. We had a big meet up at Duxford a couple of months ago which was good, which wasn't too far from you. There are a few pics floating around on here somewhere. Did you put the mods on yourself or buy it as it is?

Not sure if I've seen the aero skirts before? I'm guessing you have them on yours lol?

very nice, do the exhaust stick out slightly too much though?

I completely agree Taz and i was waiting for someone to say it lol.

Its because the outer pipes aren't staggered to flow in line with the bumper, which has irritated me since buying the car but been too busy to change it!

I'm getting some tips made up very soon though and welded on. As i love the sound of the exhaust just not the aesthetics!

Thats good as you hardly ever see and M's about! Nope Duxford isn't too far at all I'll check out the pictures.

Most of the bits were already done, since ownership i have had the wheels returned to silver as they were previously anthracite (ill post some pics tomorrow), fitted the springs, plates, changed the badges back to standard (were random colours before) and just kept it clean really!

Have you done much to yours?

I do indeed, very subtle but really improves the look.

Here's a link to the Duxford thread. Mine and bing's cars on page 27 with some good aero skirt shots. Link to page from the actual day onwards, otherwise 26 pages to read before we even got there

Apart from some pressed private plates and a stubby , it is all standard. Would love some CSLs but I don't have that kind of money to spend on alloys at the moment unfortunately. One of the previous owners added a very light tint to the front windows to compliment the factory rear tints which looks OK. Not something I'd have done but equally not something I'd remove!

Some aeros on yours as mentioned and then standard exhaust tips and I'd be very very happy if I had it like that!!

"Bing" has the same colour combo in an E85, was great to see that alongside at Duxford.
