Z4M Coupe for Sale

Hi all,

Unfortunately, I need a 4 seat car for my new business venture and need to sell the Zed.

September 2007 57 plate BMW Z4 M Coupe for sale:
25,000 miles

Midnight Blue with Champagne leather

Bluetooth
Logic 7
BMW Assist (expired)
Heated seats
Rear PDC
Tracker
Extended BMW Warranty until May 2012.

Full BMW Service history:
Running in @ 1232 miles at Stephen James Bromley,
Oil service @ Stephen James Blackheath,
Inspection 1 @ Sytner Chigwall (July 2010)
MOT'd 19th May @ Sytner Chigwall.
Tax until September 2011
5950 miles until next service (oil)

In full and frank disclosure, negatives below:

Passenger Front and rear wheels will need refurbishing to get to perfection.
M badge missing on Passenger side (for some reason wasn't there when I bought the car and never got round to getting a new one).
Slight tear in Rear luggage cover

I bought the car in May 2010 from Sytner Sollihul. There is finance outstanding.

I'm asking for £22,500 for this as I feel this is a fair price for a car in this condition particularly with BMW Extended warranty. Looking at the dealers/pistonheads, it seems that the dealers are charging circa £25k for similar spec vehicles. This car has been loved and I've only used 99 octane petrol where possible (Shell Optimax/Tesco Momentum etc).

I'd like to sell to a forum member if possible as you guys were very helpful in your advice on helping me select this car in the first place.

I know I haven't posted much but you'll see I'm not a sign in to sell person :) and have posted previously.

Please feel free to contact me for more details on [email protected] or 07899 803951.

Thanks

Hi guys,

Thanks for the comments. Thanks for reminding me about the Nav! Yes, its got Nav with the 2010 disc.

That one with 6000 miles is keenly priced and I'm sure is a great car but consider the following points:

1) Convertible vs Coupe: the Coupe sells for a premium.
2) I don't know the age of this car
3) No Sat nav
4) No extended warranty

This has a really good spec and with 12 months extended BMW Warranty should give trouble free motoring for the next year. The oil service in 6000 miles is a small one and after that you're good for another 12,000 miles.

I spent a lot of time researching these cars (with your help!) and waited for the right specced car to come along. I hope that someone else will be able to enjoy it too!

Please keep the questions coming.

Thanks again,

Ramy

Your car does look stunning and best of luck with the sale.

I would echo what others have said above, I'm in the market and I would pay that much for a main dealer car without the negatives you mention. Although you say it has 12 months warranty, being a private seller means that the buyer has no one to come back to. For that increase in risk most people would expect an decrease in price. Just my tuppence. :)

BMW warranty is transferrable, so that should not make any difference ...

Hi James,

As pvr mentioned, the BMW Warranty is fully transferable.

Apologies, Should have made that clear.

Thanks,

Ramy

Thanks guys,

My favourite colour combo too!

Really sad to let her go. I was hoping to keep her for a few more years (hence getting the warranty extended), but have realised that my car tours business needs a 4 seater as a support vehicle so an M3 is a more sensible choice :(

Blueshoe5000, thanks for letting me know about the leather. How can you tell if you have extended leather?

I think you have extended leather too mate
Extended leather includes the transmission tunnel, like this...

Don't know if it's just a bad photo, but your driver's seat looks a bit dirty :P

ahh,

I see. In that case, no, I don't have extended leather!

I think its the photo ;) but i can assure you the seats will be clean when its sold :):)

Ramy,

I just mean that when you buy from an individual it is sold as seen, and although the warranty can be transferred to the new owner there are things that could go wrong shortly after purchase which you could have no knowledge of. My point was that it just offers some reassurance when buying from a dealer, and that is what I would look for at that price.

As I said before, your car looks really nice and wish you the best of luck with your sale, I am trying to sell mine at the moment too.

That's a cracking and unusual colour combo, why not try m3cutters to see if anyone wants to swap? A few people have come from the e90 to the z4m on here I think...

I am not with you on that one? If you have the full warranty transferred to you, it does not matter if there is anything wrong with the car as it will be fixed by warranty anyway and the previous owner would have had no benefit of leaving a fault there which would have been free to be fixed.

I bought my 740 1 year old with 2 years remaining of the warranty, and it was seamless. I even got goodwill repairs from the dealer after 5 years as it had full BMWSH so not even any problems there.

Fair enough. I stand corrected.

Ramy, would you be interested in a BMW 123d coupe instead of a M3. It is great at continent crossing but I understand it is no M3!

Having lived with mine for 2/5 years, I think I prefer your combo over mine. Don't see the point of the tunnel being in champagne too, as it's just something else to get marked. The carbon leather you've got would also be on my wish-list if I was after another.

I had the same problem with the colours looking patchy when I took some photo's of mine, so ended up re-shooting them but with more light :headbang:
