Z4M Coupe and 1 Series M Coupe - Road Test Figures Added

But the Z4M is cut from a different cloth to the Popeye muscles of either the E46 M3 that was on sale at a similar time, or today's E92 M3 and 1 Series M. It looks fantastic: the best, we reckon, of all the controversial Chris Bangle designs. Just be sure to get the hardtop.
It's common knowledge that the Coupe looks better then the Roadster and that the Coupe is more exclusive then the roadster... I own a Roadster and IMO the Coupe does look better, but when driving with the top down the Roadster is more fun for me... If I bought a Z4M coupe then I had a small unpractical sports car, if I bought the roadster then I also had a small unpractical sports car but with extra added value of also having a convertible

The best indicator is past results, and the Z3 M Coupe average asking price is $5,000 higher than the Z3 M Roadster in the US, but so what? Is someone supposed to buy a car they don't enjoy as much because at some point it might be worth a bit more? The whole point of money is to get what you want, rather than what people tell you. I hope no one's lame enough to get a coupe because some magazine or smug forum member told them to.

I'll add my £0.02

If it's a 2nd car and your main ride is a hardtop (E92 in my case) getting a soft top was a no brainer. Yes, the Coupe looks better and if you had to run only one the Coupe would make the more practical choice (I've seen a thread where someone got an MTB in the back!).

Both are great cars, do wish the whole Coupe v Roadster debate would go though. Really doesn't matter what mag says what, you already made the decision to get a Roadster or Coupe. Enjoy it, whatever your choice :) :driving:
