Z4M as 911 replacement?

I changed from a slightly modified 911SC to my ///M and it's in a different league altogether, would I have another Aircooled 911? Yes I would, in favour of the ///M, not at all unless it was a 911RSR rep 8)

interesting, good to know you think the m is way above the 911sc. still love the last of the air cooled 993 glass top targa, very pretty car, going up now though.

I had a 993 Targa and a 996 C4 before the Z4 M. Both interesting cars, I really liked the 996 personally. The 993 was nice but didn't do it for me.

In the 993 I always had this sensation the car was not my friend, in the Z4M it masks your speed very well and generally eggs you on.

I much prefer the BMW, but if I was keeping it long term I would probably put some Eibachs on to sort the ride out. Interior is miles ahead of the 911s though, the old air cooled thing felt like someone put a box of interior pieces in the car and set off a grenade - the placement is so bizarre.
