I'd not personally use another manufacturer's spec tyre due to insurance concerns (I don't know the technical/performance differences between a Mercedes M0, Porsche N1 and a BMW * tyre, so wouldn't be able to make an informed decision on whether they're okay or not) - plus as the rears are shot, the new buyer would have to either replace all 4 tyres or take the risk of fitting/finding the rear PS3 M0 tyres to match the front.
Saying all that, I don't think £450 is a bad price for the wheels alone, so someone who doesn't mind having M0 tyres won't worry.
ebay will have a bigger audience though - and you wont get as many comments![]()
There's no insurance implications of running MO marked tyres on a BMW.
