Z4m alloys. Michelin ps3 tyres

Here for sale are my bmw z4M alloys that I’ve taken off and replaced with csl’s.

All tires are Michelin ps3’s MO ( Mercedes only ) I opted towards these tires due to softer compound and quieter.

The front have plenty of tred, the rears however don’t have a great deal of life left but legal.

I would say the condition of the wheels is very average and would 100% require a refurb. They do NOT have any cracks, buckled or welds.

Not quite sure how to value these. So forum rules. I will say £650. Feel free to take the mick out of me and all insults welcome 😂

I am based in south east Kent

Powder coating is not £100 wheel. £60 is what I pay and are done to a high standard. My price was a ball park. Don’t really know what to value them at. Thanks

Apologies Im not trying to crap your sale, 400 is what i pay for a refurb locally although I'm sure it can be done cheaper, Im sure if they were mint with good tyres on you could expect 8-900 pounds, but in this condition in all honesty id say 4/500.. as always Im sure they'll find there own price in the marketplace

No worries mate! No offence taken what so ever. A sensible offer would take them off my hands if anyone was genuinely interested

Refurb £240 ( your figure)
New rear tyres £300

Already looking at £540 to spend

For wheels that only fit a specific model, I would say all done they are worth £750 so that leaves the value at £210 as they are, sounds harsh but do the calcs

Just my opinion of course

Harsh mathematics.
They should find a buyer £450/£475 as they are.

Agreed.

Maintenance and cosmetics never affects price that much. i.e. if I had just sunk £1000 into maintenance of the Zed, doesn’t make it £1000 more in value.

Having said that, with your calcs I’d take the wheels for £210

Behave kis, I'm of the mind these are worth at least £235 as they are, plus courier at my costs - if the OP agrees?

Cheers

I'd take the tyres off and sell just the set of wheels - that means they'll appeal to both Z4M and Z4 drivers as they can fit tyres to suit.

I'd not personally use another manufacturer's spec tyre due to insurance concerns (I don't know the technical/performance differences between a Mercedes M0, Porsche N1 and a BMW * tyre, so wouldn't be able to make an informed decision on whether they're okay or not) - plus as the rears are shot, the new buyer would have to either replace all 4 tyres or take the risk of fitting/finding the rear PS3 M0 tyres to match the front.

Saying all that, I don't think £450 is a bad price for the wheels alone, so someone who doesn't mind having M0 tyres won't worry.

ebay will have a bigger audience though - and you wont get as many comments
