Does nothing for me. The side view especially is bad. I'd need my beer goggles on the find that attractive.

It is a hand-built one-off, so I don't know if it could be bought at any price. There is (suspiciously) no mention of the engine in it, at all, anywhere :?
Love it. Takes the best bits of the E89 (front) and does away with the worst (rear end and metal folding roof). All it needs is a 420hp V8.
As an aside - it's damn fine work from BMW in pushing the boundary like this with a design studio like Zagato.
Maybe a mainstream E89M Coupe is on the way. Now that would be exciting.

They had a great chance to make something very beautiful....but boy how they have failed. Those crappy Z's on the headrest, the awful rear and the same interior pretty much....I love the interior, but if you are proposing a new design, don't just pimp the interior with some red stitching

To be fair, it is supposed to be based off the E89 Z4 and on the outside, only the long hood and it's silhouette resembles the E89. The interior is the only thing that looks identical to the current Z4. The rear only has a hint of the taillights. Plus I actually like the E89 interior (might be a bit biased :lol: ) but I think it's a safe route than making something that could simply look awful. As long as they use better materials in the interior then I think it'll be good.

Good thread RFX45, this was a great find 
The interior is gorgeous, and IMO it is more than just pimped, but still subtle... If red on black can ever be subtle. The Z on the headrest is a Zagato signature I think, and looks class.
What did people think when they first saw the Alpina interior, with it's own version of the standard interior ? I guess it was accepted because Alpina has been associated with BMW forever - but it was just as unsubtle if the individual interior was quite rare in pre-facelift cars ? Don't know enough about the history to be honest... So I'll shut up now :roll:
